My sisters and I learned from our mother to weave on a backstrap loom. It all started as a game but then it became a daily activity but nowadays, many of the women in town are no longer dedicated to it. These women are the ones who sometimes buy the pieces that I make even though I make very little money for them but it helps me so that I can buy my things without having to ask my husband.
