Since I was a child, I learned to weave on the backstrap loom as a teaching from my mother which she received from my grandmother and so did all women in my family. This craft helps me to support myself and have an income that is difficult to get otherwise in my community. It is difficult to accept to receive what they give me and not the price it is really worth.
