For as long as I can remember, the women in my house have been weaving the backstrap loom. My grandmother taught us how to do it and that is what we have dedicated ourselves to especially in making our traditional clothing. Sometimes, when we are lucky we sell a some pieces but we have to walk a lot because in order to sell we have to leave our community.
