I began to learn to embroider and weave at the age of six. At the age of ten, I managed to make my first skirt elaborated in backstrap loom. I could not continue studying because I was in need of income. It was then that I began to make crafts to be able to make a living on weaving. I had almost no idea how to make designs so my mom took me to the countryside to see the leaves of the plants. From there, I began to be inspired to capture them in my creations including animals. But it was my grandmother who taught me to make brocades on the canvases that she made on the loom and so they varied and with that and I began to sell more of my products but the constant struggle has been with those who want to buy my products at a very low price without valuing the time and dedication that each garment takes.
