Learning to weave on the backstrap loom began as a playful activity with my sisters when we were tiny but as time went by, we became more interested and learned so much that our pieces began to attract attention. We began to sell them outside the community. Sadly with the pandemic, everything slowed so much that I just hope to be able to sell my pieces again because that money helps me to get ahead and goes hand in hand with something I know how to do very well.
