Artesanías Zarith
We are producers of crafts made of the natural fiber of the arrow cane inside the indigenous resguardo Zenú in the municipality of Tuchin, department of Córdoba in Colombia. We have devoted more than 15 years to this art. This art is learned and transmitted from generation to generation, we learned it from our mother and she learned it from her grandmother and so on. The history of our culture is based and inspired by the flora, fauna and religious symbols of the culture of Zenú. Our crafts are recognized nationally and internationally by the flying hat, the fleet hat and we have been recognized by the Andean parliament as a representative symbol of the Andean region and as cultural heritage. In the preparation of these beautiful crafts intervene a series of people within the productive process of the caña arrow, from their cultivation to the marketing.
