Adriana and Inga were coworkers at a management consulting firm in San Diego and shared a dream of living in a world with no plastic waste. The idea for creating a sustainable body care product brand started when Adriana and Inga were looking for an earth-friendly product for their husbands who complained about body aches and workout-induced soreness. After not finding what they were looking for they decided to develop a zero-waste, all-natural yet modern product to help their husbands with their aches and pains. They named it the Massage Cube! A certified B Corp since 2019, their company, KOA+ROY, partners with the environmental non-profit One Tree Planted to plant a tree for every product they sell.
