Lavi Spicy Peanut Butter
We purchase peanuts to make Lavi Spicy Peanut Butter directly from a local network of 3,500+ Haitian farmers, linking them to a new export market in the United States. This was virtually unheard of for peanuts from Haiti before we began working there. We also provide farmers with training on good farming practices, inputs such as seeds and fertilizer, quality control testing, and handle aggregation and delivery to peanut buyers. This entire process of producing Lavi also provides dozens of jobs for local community members.
