USHUTA ECUADOR® was founded in June 2016 with the dream of transforming Ecuadorian artisanal tradition into footwear that reflects heritage, comfort, and pride in our roots. Inspired by Ecuador's cultural richness, we craft espadrilles and artisanal footwear using natural materials—such as cotton and jute fiber—that offer breathability, comfort, and authentic style. We work alongside weavers in the province of Imbabura based on fair trade principles, valuing their talent and preserving their ancestral techniques. From Quito, every design we create tells a story of dedication, quality, and respect for our authentic heritage. Every weave and detail of our footwear reflects a passion for creating products with a distinct identity, made for those who value authenticity and Ecuadorian craftsmanship. Our goal is for every step to connect with the essence of Ecuador.
