Artisan Story

I am Ana and I am 23 years old. I am an embroidery craftswoman. I like embroidery very much as it was the first thing I learned when I was a child and at the age of twelve or so I learned the backstrap loom. My mom taught me because I liked what my she made and since I can remember, I have seen my mom making her weavings in loom. I was learning little by little and when I was fourteen years old my mom taught me to embroider so I would embroidered my own blouses. Years later, I was also interested in machine embroidery and I learned the different types of embroidery such as cross stitch and hilban.
