Artisan Story

Since I was a little girl, I learned to weave the backstrap loom and embroider. Since my father died, we started to work the backstrap loom to support ourselves. We use pure cotton thread and we embroider by hand. Therefore, I now have more products in the workshop because I help ten families who can sell their product with me as I go out to sell our work three times a year to the museum of popular cultures of the state of Chiapas.
