Creator Story

"We are Rosario and Aldo, we created Chile a Mano in 2013, and we specialize in traditional Chilean handicrafts. We work with many artisans from all over Chile, many of them from rural areas, always inspired by the principles of Fair Trade. This venture started from our experience while working in the the mountain town of Coya, where we continue to live until now. Thus, working with rural communities of cultural heritage, we became aware of the tremendous quality, diversity and beauty that exists in Chilean handicrafts, so we decided to go in search of the best exponents of handicrafts in Chile in order to create a very unique catalog. We offer artisans a sales channel where we always share who is the creator as each piece of handicraft arrives at its destination with a label with the name of the artisan and its origin. This is part of our value proposition as an enterprise, which we hope will help to value the creator behind each piece.
