In the worldview of Inga and Kamentsäs shamans from this area of the country, there were certain rules for collecting plants with healing powers. Local healers speak of a Clusia plant from which they had to collect the leaves during full moon nights in order to use them to relieve body pain caused by exhausting work. Clusia multiflora earrings are made from the fruit of this tree, which when opened forms a kind of flower with its very symmetrical petals.
