Tenancingo is internationally recognized for the elaboration of the traditional Mexican Rebozo and it was there when Mr. Crispiano López opened his workshop in 1908. This is a third generation business where the latest generations started innovating while maintaining the traditional way to make these shawls. Their high-end line consists of shawls like these ones which are made with 100% high quality Egyptian cotton (120/2 gauge cotton) made in a colonial loom and dyed only with natural dyes. It takes one year in order to finish one of these shawls so they are considered a piece of art as 16 different artisans participate in the elaboration process.
