$5 of the $10 will go directly to our fundraiser to start a brand new aluminum workshop in Gonaives that will employ 5 people!
The Story:
Local materials and local skills are married to make our beautiful aluminum pieces! Recycled aluminum is melted and poured into sand molds to set by makers who have been working with aluminum to make cooking pots for years. Then it is cleaned and handed over to another set of makers to be stamped with individual letters. Each piece is labor-full. Which we love, because more labor means more people with jobs!
