I began to embroider on the loom at the age of fourteen since I had the intention of supporting my family with the household expenses. The learning process is quite difficult because in order to use the backstrap loom, you must accommodate the threads and be a long time kneeling. I always had the desire to get ahead although I struggled to achieve the development of my first blouse. Now that I have two children, I make more effort to make my garments, to have what I need for them and also to continue with the family tradition of making different garments in backstrap loom. When my children grow up, I will also teach them as my mother did with me because all our garments carry part of our essence since we choose the colors according to our thoughts and emotions.
