I am from the town of Choyó, municipality of Santiago el Pinar. At the age of six, I helped my father in the cultivation of corn. At thirteen, my mother taught me to weave in order to help her in making clothes for the family. From the age of nineteen, I got married and I started to weave clothes for sale but also for my family and that has helped me to have an income for me. I only work at home and to make handicrafts.
