Since I was very young I, learned to work with a backstrap loom which helped me get by. When I got married, It allowed me to make clothes for my children and my husband. Once I separated from him, I had the need to work to support my family and it was then that I started to make pieces to sell. Since then, it is what has helped me to support my family and get ahead. It is too bad that they never pay the fair price but even a little bit helps.
