Blue Brocade Shawl

I grew up with my mom and my siblings. My mom taught me to weave on a backstrap loom so that we could get ahead. We sold tortillas from house to house and I had to help because I was the oldest. I sold my canvases and looms with the resellers because there was no other place to sell them as they are the owners of the stores downtown where the tourists come. Some time later, my daughter-in-law invited me to her cooperative and this is where we established ourselves but it is not a central location and there are not always sales.
