I grew up with my grandmother and with her we went out to sell fruits and vegetables from house to house as well as firewood. At the same time, she also had time to teach me to weave in backstrap loom. I was growing, I was improving my technique. The threads we use are expensive and since I had to support my children, I started selling my products. In order to do that, I had to sell firewood again to be able to save and buy my threads. I started selling my pieces but it is always difficult because the ones who buy the most from us are the resellers and they pay very little but since it can be a long time without me selling a piece, I prefer to sell it and have a little money than to have nothing.
