My mother's inheritance was to teach me to work the backstrap loom, making the traditional clothes of the village and ceremonial garments. Little by little, I was learning on my own and creating more designs in order to make things different from what I was taught. I would like to sell them at a fair price or at least at the price they cost me plus the value of my work but it is very difficult for tourists to come to where I sell my products. So in order to have some money, I sell them to the resellers because they are the ones who have most of the local sales. It is never the price it should be but it is much worse to have no income at all.
