I started weaving to be able to help my mother as in those times, there was no work that one could choose. I learned the art of backstrap loom weaving and little by little, I improved my technique to the point that I began to sell them. With that income, one looks for a way to survive because there are pieces that in the municipality where I live are not paid as they should be. It takes many days and the price they pay is very low.
