Since I was a child, my mother taught me to work the backstrap loom. It started as a game but as I grew up, I realized that it is a trade of the women in my community that helps us to dress according to our tradition. It also serves in order to not spend on clothes because they are expensive. Selling my products has helped me a little but the problem is that I can not sell anywhere else but in the street, so it is difficult to get ahead today.
