The Inírida River Star is the place where three important rivers meet: the Guaviare with brown waters, the Inírida with dark waters, and the Atabapo with reddish waters. Alexander Von Humboldt gave it the name of star because of the particular way in which these three rivers join and deposit their waters in the Orinoco River. The River Star ring has a knot made of indigenous fabric that represents the point where the three rivers meet.
– Measurements: The band width of the ring is 1.1 cm.
– Material: The metal pieces are handmade in bronze and have a 24K matte gold plating. The fabric is made by indigenous Curripacos from Guainía, in natural fiber from the cumare palm.
