Most of the rivers in the Guainía department have a rocky base that is full of stones that favor the formation of whirlpools and flows. These stones, although they make navigation difficult, create unique landscapes full of movement and fluidity that are worthy of admiration. Among the most impressive of the Inírida River are the Zamuro and Cualet rapids. The Jiipada earrings, which in the indigenous Curripaco language mean stone, represent these river stones.
