The Pinachu earcuff is inspired by the accessories worn by the Inga and Kamentsä indigenous people. Both men and women dress and wear a large number of accessories for special events, such as the carnival of forgiveness. The crown is one of these accessories, and when it has feathers, it denotes hierarchy and has a ritual use, exclusive to male spiritual authorities.
