Bamboleira
Bamboleira was born in 2015, dreaming of combining fashion, art, and social responsibility. It all started when Natalia, our founder, created her first earrings for personal use, which became popular among her friends. This small beginning led to creating a brand with a larger purpose. Since 2017, we have worked hand in hand with the Wounaan Indigenous community, who use the meringue palm in our pieces. This ancestral technique keeps its tradition alive and provides sustainable employment to more than 25 mother heads of families at the heart of our production. We are proud to be pioneers in fusing gold-plated bronze with these natural fibers and sustainable pigments. Today, Bamboleira has grown internationally, bringing this blend of art and fashion to more than 30 countries. Each piece of jewelry we create reflects not only the essence of Colombia but also our commitment to social justice and female empowerment. Our purpose is for each piece to tell a story, support communities, and celebrate the beauty of craftsmanship.
