Artisan Story

I learned to weave on a backstrap loom at the same time as I was studying. I have dedicated myself to this activity as it helped me to support my studies. As we live in a state where the pieces are not given the value they should have, I have had to look for other sources of income but I continue practicing the art that my mother taught me. I see her and accompany her weaving, sharing ideas, sharing her experience and translating it into our textiles.
