All my sisters and the women in my family have dedicated themselves to learning to weave on the backstrap loom being taught by the older women who have been training every generation and that is something that helped us to have the opportunity to sell the pieces apart from working in the fields. Since the pandemic, everything got complicated, and sales disappeared, so lately, I have dedicated myself to commissioned work.
