Isidora Malva was born from the passion for leather goods and the love for artisan crafts that Monica, its creative director, had. After living and working for a while in Milan, she returned and founded the leather goods company where she could mix this beautiful craft with Colombian artisan techniques, taking her great-grandmother Isidora as her main inspiration—a strong, independent woman with a dreamer spirit. Isidora Malva is a sustainable luxury handbag and accessories brand. We are conceived for sophisticated, cultured, active women who want to be admired. We seek to preserve the traditions of craftsmanship and leather goods, to conceive contemporary works, fair production, and resource optimization. We intend to connect the community with the production system as well as the end user to contribute to the development and preservation of their ancestral techniques, generating a social impact throughout the value chain. We seek to raise awareness about consuming quality products that tell a story beyond. We are inspired by ancestral travelers and their knowledge of craft techniques in creating and developing their containers, baskets, and baskets as an extension of our body. Honoring our ancestors, who from their ancestral knowledge give us an example of how we should protect and preserve our ecosystem is the main reason and inspiration for the brand.
