Another god of the Curripaco cosmogony is Marweno, the most powerful god of lightning in the universe. One day the god Iñapirrículi was at war with the goddess Amaro and decided to steal Marweno's lightning bolt in order to destroy her. His lightning bolt, unlike Iñapirrículi's, has the characteristics of both brightness and shooting, while the creator god's only has brightness. However, Iñapirrículi deceives him and exchanges the lightning bolts before combat and the lightning god is killed by his own lightning bolt. The Marweno earrings tell the story of this indigenous god.
