One of the activities we learn in childhood is to weave the backstrap loom, which is done to make our clothes. I have been fortunate that people have been interested in the backstrap loom and my pieces. Some people place orders with me, which is the best way to work, but that is rare. I plan to sell more pieces outside the community where they value my work.
