Or, treat yourself to something special. 7) Things to do before using - As this pot is intended for dry storage, there is no need to soak it in water. Only clean the clay pot with a dry cloth to get rid of any traditional kiln residue. 8) When not in use how to store pot - When not in use for long period please dried up pot = in sun for 2 days minimum. Once they are dried wrap it in cotton cloth and store in cupboard. 9) How to dispose - Grab an old cloth, cloth bag or a tarp and a large rock or mallet, place the clay pots inside and smash away. You can also use this for garden decoration and planting. 10) How to take care of Terracotta Products - a) Cleaning the pot thoroughly every 2 to 3 days a week or even cleaning daily from outside is much better to avoid any kind of deposition on the pot and to keep its pores open. b) Please do not use any soap or detergent to clean any clay pot. c) For cleaning you can use coconut scrubbers or any mild scrubbers, no metal or any harsh scrubbers as they can leave scratch marks on the clay.
