Artisan - Margarita Lopez Santiz

At home, since I was little, I was taught the craft of weaving on a backstrap loom to know how to make the traditional garments that we wear to preserve our tradition and not buy clothes that do not represent us culturally. Over time I began to devote myself to the sale of my pieces. Unfortunately, my people are involved in social and political conflicts that often cut us off from the surrounding area. That complicates the access of tourists. So, if I have a piece by order, it helps me a lot because I can get money from that.
