To continue studying is very expensive in the community, so to have something else to do, I learned to weave on the backstrap loom more than anything to entertain myself. When I became a single mother, I had to do something to support my children, so I started to make pieces to sell, but it has become very complicated without having a fixed place to sell. When the pandemic came, it was more difficult because I had to resort to other trades, such as washing other people's clothes to support my family. I usually only make a few pieces until I sell one because I have little money to invest in the thread.
