Working in the backstrap loom weaving is done primarily so that you can dress yourself and your family but for some time now, I have been able to sell some pieces to people in the community and that has helped me to support my household expenses. I hope someday to be able to sell my pieces outside my town because nowadays women are not allowed to leave the community to do so.
