It has been twenty years since I dedicated myself to weave in the backstrap loom as it is our tradition that I was taught as a woman, so in the days of market in the village I go out to sell my pieces but they always end up paying me a very low price and it costs a lot of time plus the cost of the raw material. The distributors of thread within the village raise prices and make a piece come out more expensive, so I have chosen to do only custom work although I earn very little if I do not do so I earn even less.
