One of my childhood memories was seeing my mother sitting in the yard weaving in her backstrap loom. As I grew up, she taught me how to weave. I kept practicing and over time, I improved more and more and began to sell my pieces. My mother was always invited to exhibitions and we attended but when the pandemic started, there were no more exhibitions. Up to this day, I have not recovered from the lack of sales.
