At RUNAKAY we work hand in hand with artisans from Ayacucho and Cajamarca with the purpose of rescuing and exhibiting Peruvian art and offer exclusive, original, unique and modern products. We have enjoyed learning different techniques of embroidery, weaving and crochet in order to create unique pieces of textile art. We love the beauty of their work and the way they incorporate the meaning of each region and area of the country. Our main objective is to give a better lifestyle to many artisan families. At the same time, it allows us to show to the whole world the rich and diverse textile arts of Peru from the coast and highlands. We seek that the designs merge the textile arts of our ancestors with current fashion trends as they adapt the urban style to our embroidery or fabrics made in traditional materials.
