As the daughter of a craftswoman, I learned the trade from a very young age as I had to work to help with household expenses. Over time, I developed skills for the backstrap loom, perfecting the technique and I have dedicated my life to this day to create authentic pieces using artisan techniques. I have participated in some events but they hardly value the pieces; the time it takes to elaborate them and the cost of the materials. I really hope our work is valued.
