"Sandra Monica Piedrahita Mambuscay is an artisan weaver from Santiago de Cali; at 12, she learned the macramé technique from her mother, who passed on this knowledge. Her brand Moniscraft®, a crafts company, started in Cali in 2010, where she explores the fusion of knots as a principle of creation and design to share a feeling or idea with the world. Weaving is, for her, a magical and therapeutic way of connecting with her environment.

Her handcrafted pieces contain elements of inspiration that she captures with pencil and paper and then gives life to the fabric, using quality materials such as threads, waxed threads, semi-precious stones, crystals, seeds, wooden beads, totumo, and coconut fittings that her team acquires from communities and artisans in the Colombian Pacific. Her collection includes accessories such as Earrings, Necklaces, Bracelets, Anklets, and Bags taking care of every detail in the creative process and weaving.

Moniscraft seeks to preserve and rescue an inherited ancestral tradition that expresses their cultural identity, the transmission of knowledge with the dignity of the weaving trade and give recognition to their biodiversity from the richness of the fabrics."
